Was the folder empty before you restored with Kickstart?

Per was asking whether the main Joomla folder was empty before you uploaded the .jpa file and Kickstart.

If you simply uploaded the two files into the main Joomla folder without emptying it first, errors like this will inevitably occur. The database schema needs to be new, too.
